Who would believe that this international movement will be seen also in a small town of north Germany - Eberswalde.

I saw this tree on the Main Street called
Eisenbahnstraße.
The Yarn Bombing, Guerrilla Knitting, Kniffiti or Urban Knitting, you can find many description for this street art made with colourful knitted or crocheted
yarn or fibre. The Yarn Bombing have originated in the U.S. with Texas
knitters trying to find a creative way to use their leftover and
unfinished knitting projects, but it has since spread worldwide.

The start of this movement has been attributed to Magda Sayeg, who says she first got the idea in 2005 when she covered the
door handle of her boutique with a custom-made cozy. You can read and see more of her works
here.
And now back to Eberswalde and it unique and only one The Knit Knot Tree.
