One public space caught my eye and I decided to search a bit more. So here it is, the green wave of Simsonplatz in Leipzig.

Simsonplatz is a rectangular public square in the south-west suburb of Leipzig.
Between years 1888 and 1895 they built National Federal Administrative Courtonon in west side of the square and in 1900 they named this place: Platz den Namen Reichsgerichtsplatz (Square of Imperial Court of Justice).

It is probably important to say who was actually Harkort, person the street was named after.
Gustav Harkort was a german financier and railway pioneer in the 19th century. in Leipzig.
With his financial help and great spirit he helped to change the floodplains landcsape into the musician district with fashionable high culture spot full of new concert houses, sumptuous villas and representative houses.
In the 21st century the citizens of Leipzig decided to give this place a modern touch. I do like how they refresh the space without forgetting about the historical meaning.
